A well situated hotel at an acceptable price level just opposite the metro station "Volontaires" in a quiet street. Ideal for a stay during a short visit to Paris.
metro just across the street from hotel so easy access to all atractions. clean, comfortable beds with extra pillows and coffee and tea with hot water maker in room. quiet hotel. not super fancy but comfortable.
Location, quite and breackfast.
Really comfortable place to stay, very easy to get anywhere in Paris because the metro station is right in front of the hotel. There is free wired internet access. The staff is very polite and they will try to speak in your language. The rooms are very clean.
Location just opposite metro - extremely convinient
Helpful staff that spoke good English. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Good location being next to the Metro station and close to supermarket, etc. Nice and quiet for city location.
The double bed was two singles with single sheets pushed together which was not very romantic. No free Wifi, like the other hotels we stayed at in France, however Orange is fairly cheap.
Breakfast was surprising good. Small but adequate selection of hot and cold food. Great location by being just outside the metro station even though the actual location is further than we expected in Paris to explore on foot.
In this case is not about the hotel, but some of the guests behaved badly by 'raiding' the breakfast for free packed lunches and may be even dinner due to the amount of food they 'slipped' into their handbags.
It was in such a convenient location. The metro was just across the street. The receptionist was very helpful and they had a good breakfast.
Rooms are not large but it accommodated 3 adults quite comfortably.
the room was very good, with good air-condition. It is situated next to a metro station.
Breakfast does not "hold" until the promised hour, By 10:00 there are no more eggs...
Staff really kind, in front of metro station, just few steps to Eiffel tower. lovely!
Not too much suitable for family with children.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and they spoke English quite well. Very easy access directly across the street from the metro. Good location for visiting the major sites in Paris. The room was a decent size and comfortable, although it might be a bit warm in the late summer months.
The only problem that I had was with the room clock. There was no alarm clock, and the only clock in the room was on the television. Not a big deal until you find out the depending on what channel the t.v. is on, the clock will lose an hour or display the right time. No big deal as long as you're aware ... bring a travel clock or request a wake-up call and you'll be good to go.
We booked a room for 3 people. We - literally! - were not able to put 3 suitcases into the room. Seriousely. The beds were aweful, old, and made terrible noise every time one of us moved. It was not possible to open a window as the bed was in the way. There was a tiny old cupboard in teh room, which would not fit clothes for 1 person, let alone 3. The hotel is right outside an entrance into Metro station, with exit door of metro 7 meters away from entry into hotel. The noise from this metro exit was very significant, commenced early int he morning and ended at 1am. WIFI in the room did not work. This was the worst experience we had in a long time, and the room was so bad that we spent 1/2 the night looking for alternative accomodation, and moved out the next morning. we lost a significant amount of money by moving out early, but staying in the hotel was NOT possible.
The staff and Halal restaurant around the Hotel
Room was small but bed was so comfortable and quiet. It let us had a good sleeping after day trip during these few days in Paris. Receiptionist was nice and helpful. Location is good as just oppsite to the metro and this is very convenience for us to travel around city. It is a good choice for staying.
We took the ice train into Paris and the metro is right there, and the metro to the hotel, which is right across the street. The hotel staff was very friendly, they held our bags for us on the last day we were there, until we left......late afternoon. The beds were very comfortable........we each had our own, there was a/c, there were two bathrooms.........one had a shower and a sink, the other had a bath with a shower and a toilet, there was lots of mirrors to get ready, a nice large closet to put suitcases in and hang clothes, plenty of hot water. There is a Starbucks that is 6 blocks from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
